pre-k II (Ages 4-5)
In the Pre-K II classroom, our goal is to support every child in acquiring the social and academic skill sets necessary for kindergarten success. A thoughtfully designed environment and intentional teaching strategies work together to promote our students' optimal growth and development. Theme-based literacy activities expose our young learners to the concepts that will allow them to become confident readers and writers. To encourage mathematical exploration, children are given many opportunities to count, manipulate, and categorize interesting materials. Our classroom's budding investigators gain an understanding of scientific principles as they interact with real objects and phenomena. The social studies portion of our curricular content helps children to understand God’s world and their place in it.
